The role of a secretary has changed dramatically over the past few years fears that advances in office technology would result in the extinction of the secretarial role were proven wrong. The secretary today has evolved and holds a key role in the office environment. The program is directly relevant to the needs of the modern office environment and helps students to develop skills and abilities for successful careers in responsible secretarial positions.

This course is intended for students who wish to gain secretarial skills, mainly computer knowledge. It is also intended for those who would wish to pursue a national diploma in secretarial and office management in future.

The applicant must have at least 5 passes at o’ level including mathematics and English.

Eligibility: For admission into any of the certificate courses, the applicant must have completed and attained the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or a junior technical certificate or any equivalent qualification.

Duration: 2 years

Study Programmes: Day, Evening and Weekend
